This free\, drop-in event is open to everyone and offers a chance to learn more about the vital services NESS provides for people who are blind\, partially sighted\, deaf\, or hard of hearing across the North East of Scotland. \nVisitors are warmly invited to: \nCome in for a chat and a cup of coffee with the friendly NESS team. \nAccess information and support from the wide range of professional services within NESS. \nExplore specialist equipment and resources designed to support independence. \nFind out how to get involved — whether as a service user\, volunteer\, or supporter. \nThe day will also provide an opportunity to see the ongoing transformation of Arbroath Courthouse\, which is being redeveloped into a vibrant\, inclusive community hub. \nAbout NESS\nFounded in 1879 as the Aberdeen Town and County Association for Teaching the Blind at their Homes\, NESS has evolved into Scotland’s leading provider of integrated sensory services. \nOver its long history — from the Grampian Society for the Blind to today’s North East Sensory Services — NESS has continually expanded its reach and services.
